On the 6-7 of October 2010 in the context of the project supported by the fund “Open Ukraine” the master class took place in Vinnytsia concerning the topic: “Methodology of diagnosing labor migrants’ children’s peculiarities”. The group consisted of 20 people, namely the representatives of Vinnytsky regional institutions and organizations, representatives of Yamplilsky district, Vinnytsky region, representatives of Tulchynsky district. They were the therapists, teaching methods specialists and social pedagogues. Three therapists have more than 5year long record of professional activity. There were several participants who haven’t had experience either in working within training groups or school psychologist experience.

All the participants face the problem named above in their practice and they are interested in acquiring new knowledge in the sphere. The therapists noted that there were labor migrants’ children in the schools they were working at.

On the second day the group was already feeling free and communicating. There was amicable and open-hearted atmosphere. Having noticed the fact that we were sharing our experience willingly and stressing the importance of information exchange the participants started to share their experience actively. And that was wonderful for there were no supervisor groups in those districts and the therapists had certain difficulties in sharing their experience. And in that way we showed them how they could exchange their experience within their district and create supervisor groups by themselves.

In their feedback the participants paid their particular attention to the following:

·        amicable and supporting atmosphere;

·        many of the participants stressed that the information they had acquired was new and important and comprehensible;

·        it was very important for the participants that they could work out on themselves almost all of the methods;

·        they also mentioned the importance of having the set of tests not just bag of some methods;

·        they thanked for the fresh look at well-known methods;

·        it was extremely important to us that they were ready to use the material we taught them in their further practical activity.
